Refund and Returns Policy

Jonathan Ott Books are handcrafted with great pride and we take every care to minimize the need for returns. You must contact us at [email protected] within 24 hours of delivery of your order to qualify for a return and refund or exchange. International orders are only eligible for returns in the case of the item arriving damaged.

Return of untouched items: (USA only).

To be eligible for a return, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery of your order for authorization of the return and instructions. The item must be in the same condition that you received it in and it must be returned in the same box, or an equivalent, with the same padded packing inside. You will be responsible for the shipping cost of returning your item. All shipping costs are non-refundable. The costs of shipping, along with a $25 return service fee, will be deducted from your refund. Refunds will be issued upon our receipt and inspection of the return. If there is any previously unmentioned damage to the item, this will be also deducted from your refund.

Return of damaged items: 

Every precaution is taken to securely package your order with extra padding to guarantee the book arrives in pristine condition. In the unlikely event that the book is damaged in transit, please contact us immediately, within 24 hours of receipt of your book, and provide photos of the damaged book & any visible damage to the box it was shipped in. We can then authorize a return and instructions. Upon receipt of the return we’ll send a replacement from our available stock. If a replacement is not available, you will be offered a complete refund on return of the damaged book, or the opportunity to keep the book and receive a partial refund relative to the degree of damage.
